If you’ve been thinking about making a move to this gorgeous coastal community, you may be wondering what the coworking scene here is like. Is it easy to find a buzzing and motivational coworking space or will you need to seek out other workspace options?

Today, we’re going to answer all of your questions. Read on as we share a guide to coworking in Ventura with Circle Hub:

Ventura’s Coworking Scene

Coworking is becoming increasingly popular all over the country, as well as the rest of the world. As a result, more and more coworking spaces are opening up around the globe, and a number of them can be found in Ventura.

However, just like with coworking spaces everywhere else, standards vary. For quite a while, professionals were struggling to find a coworking space in Ventura that offered high-quality facilities and amenities at an affordable price…until Circle Hub opened its doors.

Circle Hub Ventura

Circle Hub has two locations, one of which is in the center of Ventura. Our building is situated in the heart of town, just off the 101 freeway, and there is plenty of parking directly outside. With such a convenient location, access is easy. It’s ideal for professionals who live and work in and around the city, as well as for those who are visiting for a short time.

Whichever category you fall under, chances are that pricing will be one of the main influential factors when choosing a coworking space. As we mentioned earlier, affordability used to be an issue – something that Circle Hub has always strived to change. Do some price comparisons and you’ll find that Circle Hub’s monthly membership fee is significantly lower than many of the other coworking spaces in the area. Does this mean that we skimp on quality? Definitely not. In fact, at Circle Hub Ventura, you’ll find a variety of services that other, pricier, coworking spaces don’t provide. Let’s take a closer look at some of them:

Choose From Four Coworking Areas

Ever turned up at a coworking space only to find that there weren’t any available desks for you to use? Not only can this be incredibly frustrating but it’s also a waste of time and money. Sadly, this is something that many experience at various coworking spaces.

At Circle Hub, this never happens. Our Ventura location boasts four large, open-plan coworking areas. This means that not only are you always guaranteed an available desk to work from but you’ll also be able to pick and choose between our different areas to suit your mood/tasks for the day. Immerse yourself in the center of a shared workspace or pick a cozy corner in a quieter area – the choice is yours!

If you’re still concerned about not being able to find the perfect desk when you need it, we also offer a Designated Desk service. This gives you the opportunity to book a specific desk for the day/hours you need it. Your chosen desk will be reserved for you, which is ideal if you’ve found a favorite spot in one of our coworking areas!

Make the Most of Our 61 Private Offices

Coworking is most commonly known for providing a shared workspace that members can use as and when they please. However, this early concept of coworking has evolved over the years, so much so that some coworking spaces, including Circle Hub Ventura, are now also kitted out with private offices for members to use.

At our Ventura location, we have an impressive 61 private office suites. These vary in size – some hold just one desk while others can seat five. Although these don’t fall under our standard membership fee, our members can book them by the hour. This makes it a very cost-effective way to have your own private office space whenever you need it. Whether you’re working on something confidential or you simply don’t like being in a shared workspace, you’ll still end up saving so much by opting for one of Circle Hub’s private offices versus leasing a space of your own.

Host Meetings in One of Our Three Conference Rooms

While small meetings can be held in one of our private office suites, there may be times when you need to host a larger gathering. This means that more space will be required. This is where Circle Hub’s conference rooms become incredibly useful…

At our Ventura location, we have three conference rooms for our members to use. Again, these vary in size – the smallest has a six-person capacity while the largest can hold 16 people. Each room is glass-enclosed, giving you privacy without feeling claustrophobic. They’re also equipped with a flat-screen TV and a whiteboard. They provide you with everything that you need for a successful presentation or brainstorming session.

While conference rooms often come with an eye-watering daily rate, Circle Hub’s conference rooms can be hired by the hour, with a two-hour minimum. Again, this is extremely cost-effective, making these rooms ideal for businesses both big and small!

Host a Larger Gathering From Our Event Space

Something else that sets Circle Hub apart from the other coworking spaces in Ventura is our event space. This bright and spacious room measures 1500 square feet, enabling it to hold up to 170 people.

What can you use this space for? Any type of event you want! Whether it’s a business seminar, a networking event, or a social party, our space is versatile enough to work for everything. With the space having access to a kitchen, you’ll also be able to make sure that your guests are fed and watered to their satisfaction!

Hate planning events? If so, you’ll appreciate the inclusion of an events coordinator when you book our event space. They’ll help you to plan and execute your event. Not only will this take some of the stress off of your shoulders but it will also ensure that everything runs without a hitch! It’s a service that many of our members take full advantage of.

With this space being so flexible, it can be used for video productions too. Natural lighting floods this space and the unique decor and styling will give your videos a quirky touch. Would you prefer to take your filming outside? We also have an outdoor video production area that you can use too!

Enjoying Some Downtime With Circle Hub

All work and no play is never a good way to live your life. However, this is what many professionals end up doing when working from a coworking space. Sure, in the short run, this may mean that you get plenty of work done. However, it’s unlikely that you’ll be able to keep this up for long. Restrict yourself from the downtime your body needs and you’ll only end up feeling burnt out. Your mental health will soon suffer too, with burnout and depression being strongly intertwined.

This is why, at Circle Hub Ventura, we try to encourage our members to take regular breaks and enjoy some time for themselves. Many enjoy hanging out in our common areas and chatting with other members. It’s a great way to both socialize and professionally network. Meanwhile, those who need to let off some steam can do so at our onsite fitness center. It’s equipped with everything you need for a quick workout. If a midday gym session doesn’t appeal to you, you may prefer to indulge in some downtime in our gaming room.

Of course, venture outside of the Circle Hub building and you’ll find plenty more to occupy your time with! With our convenient location, you’ll only be a short walk away from the Telephone Plaza and the Poinsettia Plaza. We’re also just a ten-minute drive from the beach – one that’s ideal for surfing!

A Short-Term Stay

Many professionals are now turning to the digital nomad lifestyle. They appreciate how this enables them to see the country/world while still getting their work done. The fact that there are now coworking spaces dotted about all over the globe helps with this in a big way! You’ll likely find a coworking space at every stop you make.

If you’re a digital nomad and are planning a short stay in Ventura, Circle Hub’s coworking space would be perfect for you. We’re surrounded by various hotels and campsites. This means that you can either immerse yourself in city life or relax in the rolling green hills that Ventura is famous for. You’ll find numerous restaurants and coffee shops in the vicinity too. There are also plenty of bars, wine cellars, and breweries!

While some coworking spaces require you to sign up for a few months, this isn’t the case at Circle Hub. Instead, our membership works on a monthly rate. There are no long-term contracts involved. This means that you can sign up for the month and then move on to your next location once you’re done.

With that said, once you’ve spent some time in Ventura, you may want to stick around! As we mentioned, surfing is a popular activity here, as is kayaking in the Channel Islands National Park. You’ll also find plenty of hiking trails weaving through and around Ventura, making this area great for active people.

Come and See Our Ventura Location for Yourself

No matter how much we, and other people, may rave about Circle Hub Ventura, it’s always a good idea to check out a coworking space for yourself before signing up. Even a quick tour of a coworking space will tell you so much about it. You’ll be able to soak up its vibe and speak to other members. This will immediately help you to know whether or not our space would be a good fit for you.
